For the purpose of staying contemporary with the internet, my ratings system uses the same 1 to 5 rating system used by other reviewers. The only difference is I give ratings in Daggers, only because it fits with my reviewer persona. For the purpose of quoting me if I review your movie you can use Stars in place of Daggers if you prefer.

I occasionally give half Daggers (e.g. 2 1/2 Daggers) when I feel a movie offers a little more and/or I will comment on any extra a movie has to offer in my review that goes beyond the rating.
Though I may rate a movie on its production, acting and script, my ratings are mostly an indication of how entertaining I found it to be and if I feel it is worth a watch.
